a little taste of Germany in the heart of Perth, WA.

Entering Perth's Rhein Donau Club for some of us, is like returning for a forth time to the country we love in the northern hemisphere: Deutschland (Germany). On Sunday we performed there with one of our best performances this year. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. We sang a small selection of our repertoire, including a few new pieces we are perfecting for next year.

Our performance included:
1. Christmas Lullaby
2. I know where I'm goin'
3. The Lord is my shepherd
4. Shenandoah
5. Lasciatemi Morire
6. Motet -Justorum animae
7. Motet- Beati quorum via
8. Frog went a-courtin'
9. Ching-a-Ring Chaw
10. Fiddler Man
11. The Terrible Tale of Tom Gilligan

Then to top of this great afternoon, the Rhein Donau Club prepared a German Tasting BBQ and open bar for us all! It was a wonderful spread with a lot of selection. Choir member Vanessa, was celebrating her birthday and so her family brought in a chocolate cake. Good food, drink and spirit never stops flowing with the German's. We just love being a part of it!

Thank you to Guenter Best for organising this lovely event.
