Hi
I attended the Best of British concert earlier this year and thought it was fantastic.
I was sorry not to hear more of the choir.
Regards
Helena I
Well done all of you for your performance of Halleluiah on Battle of the Choirs. It was absolutely awesome and sent shivers down my spine. I thought you deserved to get through. I'm not in one of the other choirs but I have sung in choirs a lot in the past, including in a choral concert in Sydney a few years ago, conducted by George Torbay. You have so much talent and you all sing so well together. Good luck in the future and keep singing. You guys rock!!!
Saw the show and I honestly think the judges got it wrong. I was most impressed by your harmony. You have another fan
Bravo! your performance on Battle of the Choirs was superb. Your version of Halleluiah was one of the best I have ever heard, and you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves!
You were all wonderful, and I (and many others) think you were the best of them all last night.
I don't care what the judges say, Kudos to the real winners on July 1st.
You guys did good in the BOTC, as others have said you shouldve gotten threw but yeah. Always next time, keep the good work up.
Saw you all on BOTC , as a member of another choir I was amazed by your singing , in a word perfect, PLEASE keep up the good work ...Peter Holles (Combined Trade Unions Choir)
4 of us sat and watched your performance on BOTC and couldn't get our heads around what the judges must have been listening to for you not to progress, after much yelling at the TV we came to the conclusion that the quality of your sound does not correlate with a pop rating show. Rest assured that 4 professional musicians sat spellbound listening to you, congratulations and am looking forward to hearing you in Victoria one day!
As a choir member I'd like to thankyou all for all your comments.
We felt we deserved at least one more try on the Battle of the Choirs... but that's show business for ya, and I guess our style was a little too 'traditional' and perhaps not as visually interesting as they would've liked.
Hi, Just found this forum, I don't know if this is the right section to post this, I am Tom from Australia.
